Avarn Security has been tasked with delivering security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which includes staffing with Airport Controllers, Security Guards, and Watchmen. For many years, we have also provided security services to Malmö Airport (Sturup), Sälen Airport (Scandinavian Mountains Airport), and Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

Workplace: Arlanda Airport

Duration: Full-time permanent position with a 6-month probation period applicable

Working hours: Weekdays without weekends, weekends may occur if necessary

Start date: As agreed, our hope is to have you in place as soon as possible.

The security work at Arlanda is one of Sweden's most complex, dynamic, and visible assignments. We believe that the right training combined with ongoing positive development of employees creates a good foundation for a successful outcome.

Job duties: Conduct required training in aviation security relevant to the assignment at Arlanda. Follow up with regular training activities in operation and certify airport controllers. Administrative work in the form of documentation is included in the position, and you need to have good knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

You will undergo certification with the Swedish Transport Agency as an Aviation Security Instructor. Approved certification is a requirement for employment.

Qualifications: As the instructor is the first person to meet our new employees, it is important that you are an ambassador for Avarn and the security work at Arlanda. We are looking for someone who is positive, pedagogical, and motivating. Previous experience in pedagogical work is an advantage. You are a team player who easily adapts when circumstances change. You should have good experience working as an airport controller or in other security work at the airport. Experience in a supervisory role is an advantage.

You should have:

• Very good Swedish and English – both spoken and written
• Approved background check, security clearance will be conducted
